MV New Horizon, a 40’ power catamaran, surveyed to carry 38 guests on smooth waters, such as Sydney Harbour, and 8 guests at sea.
Entertainment facilities onboard include a 12 stacker CD player for your CD’s or bring your iPOD and play your music through the vessels sound system.
Your safety is valued and that’s why MV New Horizon meets all the stringent survey requirements laid down by NSW Maritime, Australia for its 1E, 2C & 2D certificates of survey.
MV New Horizon is fitted with Raymarine® GPS Chart Plotter and 24 nautical mile radar. We carry two Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBS). One fitted inside our ten person FRD, the other in the vessel.
Your crew Geoff and Elaine hold marine certification of Coxswain (Trading & Fishing) and General Purpose Hand, respectively and are both current Fist Aid Certificate Holders. They have over 10,000 nautical miles sea time and have navigated the Australian East Coast several times as far as Lizard Island (Cook Town), Queensland.
